You can earn *up to 25* Script School activity points for turning in your ADVANCED to-do assignment. Your advanced to-do assignment will be graded on such things as completeness, attention to detail, creativity, originality, ingenuity and effort. Assignment 2:
http://www.wal1.com/jschool/fate.htm In Option 1, a 2-week period can span two months, it can even span two years. I might as well allow for a 4-week, 8-week, or (what-the-hell) go for 52 weeks or longer. The output is still expressed in days, hours, minutes, seconds however (not months, years). What threw me for a while was that the numeric value for the months starts at zero. Makes perfect sense, I just overlooked it. Silly ! |

Wal,
This looks very good... It looks like You have already mastered JavaScript before taking this class... I hope that this course is of some value to You. logspirit

Thanks for the kind words... it keeps me going. No, I haven't taken prior Javascript courses but I have done prior programming. I wanted a good understanding of browser scripting and this course has provided that. (I'm also following along in the PHP course 2 years late !) I'm learning a lot doing these examples - and having fun. I'm grateful for the course (and I'm listening to the radio show as I write this). Thanks again. |

Just noticed Your last post to this thread... So I guess You hare listening to the Radio Show!!! Prior programming explains Your skill... Don't worry that the php course is 'old' all the classes have an initial 'live' introduction, and are then supported for as long as they remain available... all courses are 'current'... and perhaps eventually will enable students to earn regular, transferrable, college credits - at least that's the dream I'm pushing.
