Your Week #3 ADVANCED TO-DO assignment should be posted here in this thread only. If you have specific questions about the week 1 course text then please also post them in this thread so that other students can learn from the information.
You can earn *up to 25* Script School activity points for turning in your ADVANCED to-do assignment. Your advanced to-do assignment will be graded on such things as completeness, attention to detail, creativity, originality, ingenuity and effort. Here is the details on what you need to do for this assignment: Write a script that: Opens a window which is then written to 'on-the-fly' with various images from links on the main page. ( This is faster than opening a new window for each image - especially if the images are preloaded by the main window before the links are clicked. ) - and - Opens a pop-up window after an interval of 30 seconds - if - no link on a special list has been clicked. - and - Opens a 'special free image' pop-under window - if - they click a link before a timeout of 15 seconds. Show a countdown. Hints: For 2 & 3: Write to a variable through onClick Event Handler. For 3: See Week 2 of this class for a live clock example. Subtract a second each loop instead of adding one. Set the date object with a variable.

There are 5 thumbnail images which are links to the full-size versions. The two smaller thumbnails are the "special" links - if you don't click either of them within 30 seconds you get the popup message. The "free" image is not one of the 5.
